Art exhibition “Our roots”
The display is a reflection of the history of the Jews. It starts with Abraham, born in 1948 before our era, and through the presentation of selected events, navigates to Norway and ends with the Trøndelag school student Cissi Klein who sits in the park in the summer of 1938.
The exhibition consists of 10 oil paintings produced in collaboration with Ukrainian artists Olesia Welver and Anna Mahler while on the run due to war in their home country.
The exhibition working group led by Henriette Kahn has collected historical references and documentation and made a detailed description of desired paintings. And so, our professional visual artists painted these ideas and thoughts on canvases from their artistic perspective.
So this exhibition is not just order from JKFest but a genuine product of exciting collaboration between passionate souls who scalp real art together!
