Terje Torberg Vevik Bratberg (born 17 January 1955 in Beitstad) is a Norwegian historian and author.
Bratberg became a cand. philol. in history at UiO in 1990. He has made a name for himself as a city historian and commentator in Trondheim. As an encyclopedia author, he has published Trondheim City Lexicon and was responsible for articles in Store Norske Leksikon. He has also published a number of articles and works on historical topics, including farm and family history. Bratberg was formerly the chairman of the Association for the Memory of the Past in Trøndelag. He is employed as a conservator at Sverresborg Trøndelag Folkemuseum. He has also worked as a history teacher at Grong primary school. for two years.
Bratberg was the leader of Working Groups for Gay Liberation in the 1980s. Together with Bente Arnesen, he published an interdisciplinary thesis in criminology on violence against homosexuals in 1981, which is often regarded as the beginning of homosexual research at the Institute of Criminology in Oslo.
